I originally started this website in 2009, formerly know as Hebrewbaby. The purpose of this, and all of my other media channels was first, to be a resource to those seeking information and encouragement in their pursuit of natural life styles, and secondly, they were a representation and documentation of my life's journey.
Over the last four years of running the Hebrewbaby channel and affiliated sites, I had always found myself over the phone or by text, helping the sisters to understand themselves, their desires, and to accept themselves. To look within, and not outside of themselves, as the environment and people around us only reflect our internal state. So many were burdened with the sense of disillusion and confinement, and a sense of powerlessness amongst many other things.
Ironically, over time, I found myself in a similar position where my spiritual growth was at some contrast with my public appearance, and since my channels have always and only centered around me sharing my personal life experiences, I felt myself in a corner. For to be termed 'Hebrew' has with it, its religious associations.
I recognized how much of my personal life practices, for health and enrichment, stood in direct offense to the doctrines and belief systems held within various religious communities.
Consequently, I decided to close the sites and reopen them as "Mother Culture One" to be more reflective of my personal growth over the last couple of years. The new outlets will emphasize mothering and natural life styles as its primary focus; and allow me the freedom to share more of my personal experiences with you all. I would like to stress that my closing of the Hebrewbaby channels was done out of my respect for the Hebrew brethren, and was in no way a condemnation of sorts. My love for the worldwide sisterhood goes beyond appearances and associations. Therefore it is important that I be who I am in walking my life path, as I've encouraged others to do the same.
Life is filled with many questions, the answers only to be discovered by seeking and sharing. For those who desire, I ask you to rejoin me on my journey as we seek and share together.
